Voice of the Traveller is a magazine dedicated to profiling all aspects of the Traveller community both nationally and internationally. In our magazine you will find interviews from the likes of Francis Barrett, Bernie Walsh, the Beijing Boxers and Bishop Cox, to name but a few. If there is an event Travellers are interested in, we are there to cover it! From the Ballinasloe Horse Fair to your child's Christening, you'll find it all in Voice of the Traveller!
The National Association of Travellers' Centres produces and distributes the Voice of the Traveller Magazine.

Our team
The editorial team of Voice of the Traveller magazine comprises of many Travellers who decide on the direction of the magazine. Our team of dedicated journalists works all over the country to feature news and photos from your local area.
Promoting and celebrating Traveller culture
Voice of the Traveller is the only national magazine for Travellers in Ireland. The magazine is a key communications mechanism between the Traveller and settled communities and internally within the Traveller Community. We champion the positive while also challenging the negative.
Since its inception, the magazine has been tireless in promoting and celebrating Traveller culture, both traditional and modern. Our 'Memory Lane' pages feature photos of generations of Travellers through the decades. We work closely with www.travellerheritage.ie which has an online photo archive of old Traveller photos.
As well as our regular subscribers, all elected officials in Ireland receive the magazine including TD's, County Councillors, MEP's and Senators. This has added an exciting new dimension to the magazine: important information is going to the decision makers' desks, as well as to the stakeholders' laps!
